Hands-On Learning With a Purpose!
Agriscience students at Wilson Middle School, led by Mr. Jerry Comellas, partnered with Oyster River Ecology to build oyster rag pots—special structures that will help grow and restore the oyster population in the Manatee River. Amazing work making a real impact on our local ecosystem!
Our Students are our Future in the Workforce
The Future Career Academy welcomes students from Hillsborough County high schools to the Future Fair Hiring Events, where they connect with over 50 employers, training programs, and community partners.
Tutoring Program Pairs High School Students with Young Learners
Shaan Patel volunteers with the HCPS RAISE High School Tutoring Program, where he works with K-3 students in literacy. High school participants can earn volunteer hours and qualify for the New Worlds Scholar award from the Florida Department of Education.
